Cara joined Taylor, Stafford in October 2022 after serving as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Missouri for 29.5 years.  At the Attorney General's Office, Cara served as Chief Counsel of both the Labor Division and the Litigation Division.  Cara has extensive practice before the Division of Workers' Compensation, the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, all divisions of the Missouri Court of Appeals, as well as the Missouri Supreme Court.  As Chief Counsel of the Litigation Division, Cara supervised the Assistant Attorney Generals who represent state employees, state office holders and most all agencies, divisions and departments of the State of Missouri in civil litigation.
